1. Introduction

Eagle Tree Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") operates the iOS and watchOS application "Stress & Nervous System" (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your health data with the highest level of care. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

The App is a wellness tool and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnoses, clinical assessments, or treatment recommendations.

2. Health Data We Access

With your explicit permission, the App reads the following data types from Apple HealthKit on your device:

  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV — SDNN)
  • Resting Heart Rate
  • Sleep Analysis
  • Heart Rate samples
  • Step Count

We never write any data to HealthKit. The App is strictly read-only with respect to your health information.

All health data is processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party server, stored in the cloud, or shared with any external party.

3. How We Use Your Data

Health data accessed from HealthKit is used solely for the following on-device purposes:

  1. Computing a daily nervous system wellness score based on your personal baseline
  2. Generating plain-language insights about your current recovery state
  3. Suggesting appropriate recovery actions (breathing, rest, movement, etc.)
  4. Displaying 7-day and 30-day trend charts within the App
  5. Syncing your daily status to the Apple Watch companion app via WatchConnectivity (on-device only)

4. Data Storage

Computed scores and insights are persisted locally on your device using SwiftData. This data remains on your device and is backed up via iCloud only if you have enabled iCloud backup for the App in your iOS settings.

We do not operate any backend servers that receive, store, or process your health or personal data.

5. HealthKit Data Restrictions

In accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines, we will never use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to providing health and fitness services directly to you. HealthKit data will not be sold, shared with data brokers, or used to build advertising profiles.

6. Subscription & Payments

The App offers an optional premium subscription processed entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit 2). We do not collect, store, or process your payment information directly. All billing is handled by Apple.

To manage or cancel your subscription, visit your Apple ID settings or the Subscriptions section of the App Store. Purchases are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following Apple-provided frameworks. No third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or data-sharing services are included.

  • Apple HealthKit — Health data access. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple StoreKit 2 — In-app purchase and subscription management.
  • WatchConnectivity — Wireless communication between iPhone and Apple Watch (on-device only; no data leaves your devices).

You can review and revoke any permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Securityon your iPhone. Revoking HealthKit access will prevent the App from reading health data and computing your daily score.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

10. Your Rights

Because all health data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, we do not hold any personal health information on our servers. To delete data processed by the App:

  • Delete the App from your device — all local SwiftData records are removed.
  • Revoke HealthKit permissions in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the App.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
